do you understand how the commies won?
all i heard my whole life was how me beat them
germany was always red, you guys should have given us a constitution more like your own after WW2
they never left
they never retreated
they took over everythinf
the cold war never ended
we just gave up thinking we won\
Maybe we will fall but there is no glory in giving in to inevitability. Maybe the corrupting forces of decadence can be defeated at some point so why not try now.
luckily we were all taiught by communists that we won the cold war so we would never think to actually fight back against them
communism only appeals to people because of the decadent times we live in
The cold war never ended. Act accordiingly.
communism isnt the core problem
its a symptom
The symptom is humanity, but socialism always ignores that.
Hey all, has anyone seen this video about Ben Shapiro and Abortion by Philosophy Tube? Anyone want to give some thoughts on it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2PAajlHbnU&t=404s
Pro or Anti, either way. I've got my opinions, but I'm saving them until I hear from more rational/sane people.
Wouldn't load. It *might* be my internet (🤨), so I'll try again in a bit.
¿Did you mean to start at 6 m, 44s?
uhh
no comment
To be honest, I stopped watching when he called Shapiro's pro-lifery "state forced pregnancy" i thought that was the most moronic straw man I've ever heard. So I stopped watching
to quite millennials "I couldn't even"
Yeah. The first few seconds of the argument I heard was basically ‘people die , therefore murder is ok’
@Salacious Swanky Cat seems rather reductive
your comment
It’s not wrong though
That’s how it’s framed.
i know
GD FRAMING
Any time fertility clinics get brought up it really just begs the question on the operations of a fertility clinic.
It doesn’t defend abortion at all.
His argument there is basically people get murdered there so why not here.
My question is what is the diff between CONCEPTION and IMPLANTATION
online, i find them to be synonyms but I don't think that's true
because it takes 5-10 days for the sperm to fully implant so, in keeping with mantra "life begins at conception" is conception the instant the sperm hits the egg? or after that 5-10 day period?
Life begins at conception, it doesn’t matter if it’s natural or artificial insemination
When the sperm enters.
hmm
so you're saying (not like Cathy Newman) that implantation and conception are indeed synonyms?
Ok Jon. I'll skip the 6 minutes.
Thank you for being *honest* about it.
