i know thats not his kid lol but family
Trump is a great social figure and i love him and will always love him because he makes everybody who i fucking hate SO MAD
But he's not an effective president. Whats the last thing he himself actually DID?
I mean it's hardly an unbiased source but http://www.magapill.com/
lol
Not start a nuclear conflict with Iran because were relying on fucking Fox News hosts to be the beacon of rational thought about provoking and false flagging middle eastern wars and call up Trump for 5 hours telling him itd kill his presidency lol
Tucker Carlson is a god damn saint
A lot of that stuff is not directly attributable to his actions but the problem is cause and effect is really tough in politics and economics
Yes he is.
My respect for Tucker has gone up 1000% in the past few years.
hahahha cmon taking credit for the stock market is like.... alright ill let you say that but lets kinda be real lol
As I said, cause and effect is very tough in politics.
Corporate Tax Cuts
yeah yeah definitely
But the market responds to confidence.
and he definitely does get some credit sure
And Trump fucking OOZES confidence
lol that is true
Dont get me wrong, i LOVE the personality, and i LOVE the rhetoric
But those are the most important functions of the President aside from the direct responsibility for military action
Ultimately the power of law is in Congress and the Court
We haven't had an effective president in years though
What did Obama accomplish? Obama care?
That's basically ashes now
I'm okay with an ineffective president over an effective but awful president
He killed lots of people with drones, built the "concentration camps" that everyone is now blaming on Trump, and deported millions of illegal immigrants with nary a peep from the Left
Well yuma my theory is kinda that the President has been a figurehead that has very little real power ever since George H W Bush
like, if his cabinet and team is not totally onboard with his policy, then its not getting done
It is interesting though because I don't know why he doesn't just deploy several thousand troops to physically patrol the border 24/7.
And Trump's appointees and staff have been the biggest failure of the administration imo
It is literally his Constitutional duty to secure the border against invasion.
Seriously, and that is what makes me think that he is under very tight restrictions on what he can actually do.
He doesn't need to build a wall. It would be nice to get a physical barrier because that will still be standing and slowing down the flow after he is out of office and President Cortez orders all the troops off the border.
like were fucking imposing tarrifs on Mexico because were so fucking inept that we cannot secure our border, which is literally step 1 for a country
But he could shut that shit fown 99% tomorrow.
Yeah
It is kind of a brilliant move though at the same time.
Their border is 1/4 the length of ours
Lol no it wasnt really it was pathetic and he fucking backed down in a week
yet again
