It's promotion of self-indulgence. If sex is fun, you should have lots of it. But they also want to be treated like queens, and don't realize that one might affect the other.
Gotta chase those good feels at all costs
@Legalize Nah I think thats admirable. One of the greatest pitfalls in our society is weak minded people abandoning any type of morals and values due to mob mentality driven by instant gratification
There's a lot of that amongst the femnist crowd. I was just asking a friend about this yesterday I think. Basically the premise was "is this actually an agenda of manufacturing misery?"
Women want equal rights, they get them, but now societal demands are too much
Women want more equal pay, the gap begins closing in many fields, women unhappy they can't find men with more money than they.
Women say men are brutish, boorish pigs and that they want kind, sensitive and caring men, except the reality is that women are not attracted to soy boys so now "there's no real men anywhere"
Women shouldn't be relegated to home making. Well okay I agree being relegated to that isn't right but nobody said that it was a bad thing and now women's happiness has been on the decline as workforce participation outside the home has increased.
^ again, women have no idea wtf they want
All of a sudden, society is telling women that its wrong and undesired for women to behave in a way that biology intended us to. Our very nature isnt being nurtured anymore and then they wonder why women are unhappy and have problems finding meaningfulness in their lives
So they chase that instant gratification
In order to fill that void
Which ofc can be applied to men as well
That's pretty much my argument. There are different callings for men and women. They aren't hard and fast rules, but in general men are happy being able to do some level of physical work and demonstrate competence and success. Women in general are more happy orienting themselves in to a role of caregiving, nurturing of young, etc. Men and women are not the same, and while as human being each of us are capable of whatever it is we make our goal (to a degree) we are each better adept at certain things.
I have a friend who have the same problem. Although he doesnt want kids, its impossible for him to find any sort of meaningful relationship because all women in our age only wants to get drunk at bars and have casual sex.
He doesnt drink nor engage in that
I only just realized a little while ago that none of the women I know actually want to ever have kids and it was a bit of a blackpill
What age group are we talking about? Am I the old fox in this chat too? I'm 35.
@Gunner Fox im 27, my friend is 30
GAH I'M OOOOOOLD
Lmao
Women are more oriented toward organized religion than men? Or? hm that's interesting.
Makes sense in a way. Considering women are more oriented into being led than being actual leaders generally.
Religion is a form of leadership
Interesting... I wonder what their criteria for "religion" is though. I mean, women in general are more interested in people than they are in things, which is the opposite case for men.
So socializing in church is going to be more appealing to women also than it is for men.
I wonder if the more succinct question should be "is a relationship with a trancendant deity very important in your life?"
Or in the Christian case, How important is _God_ in your life.
Probably. Also because religious societies (atleast christian ones) are very engaged and nurturing within their own communities. Does that make sense to you guys?
"Religion" is somewhat of a nebulous term.
They seem to be more attracted to the more heavily orthodox ones though.
On a different but related note, our Beanie Man Tim is releasing a lot videos expressing his desire for a trad wife
Like 3 videos in 24 hours now
Tim Pool?
Is that a beanie or did he sculpt his hair permently in to a woolcap?
Also... why do people do that? I can't wear a winter beanie when it's warm.
Maybe he's _super_ bald.
skaters do it somehow
he is super bald
That helps explain it.
I have 2 feet of hair so no way I can do that.
Yeah Tim Pool
And yes, he has a huge bald spot
^
All he needs is a razor shave above and behind his ears but he'd rather wear a wool beanie.
We discussed this what? Yesterday or the day before?
We have this discussion every day
