Threw on a rifle length gas system on my comp rifle

Gas block sticks out past handguard

is the barrel rifle length?

Yeah, it was OdinWorks 3gun barrel/gas block combo. I was running mid length.

Anyway, other than the burn possibility is there any problems to this I'm not thinking of

Makes it easier to adjust

Assuming the gas block is snug on the barrel and isn't in danger of coming off not really

it'll look weird and of course the burn problem is something you're gonna want to consider

but otherwise I can't think of major non aesthetic issues

I only use this rifle for competition, so im not worried about running around with it and knocking it out of place

then as long as you can stand the looks you should be ok

obviously other than the heat issue
