No they weren't
He probably just got done wanking to some step sister porn
@JetPuffed yeah how dare people legislate morality
No one ever accused the government of following the constitution.
it's protected as motion pictures,
Sexualized images and stories have existed since the beginning of time
America is named after a pornographer
Little sister lolis are great
^lol oh boy
It wouldn't be a porn ban, it would be an obscenity ban
@MechMage
Lolwut. The people who signed the Constitution passed obscenity laws.
So who decides what's obscene?
Spader does.
Is violence obscene?
Glad we can talk about important things like impeachment that will be meaningless in two years
Bad language?
Now he's evading.
@JetPuffed there's no need to project so hard
The idea that you know more about the Constitution than people like James Madison is insane.
anyways I'm off to bed, I've already been through this one
I'm pretty sure A.Spader was there for that one too
Maybe you should look to the track record of alcohol prohibition in the Islamic world instead of the US.
>invading
@A. Spader Projecting porn. There's an idea. It could be bigger than most home TVs.
If we're going to enforce obscenity laws, why doesn't it extend to say, very violent video games or Quentin Tarantino movies?
Just look at the history of pin up girls and you'll see what happens when you ban porn
@A. Spader What's your point? That it means something other than what is written because it it's never been enforced as written?
You might as well say it's just paper and burn it.
The idea that we can't legislate morality is absolutely moronic. All law is based on morality
@MechMage
So you genuinely think you know more about the Constitution than the people who wrote/ratified it?
I think I can read something in plain English and know what it says.
@MechMage
So yes. Lol.
how do you get yes from that?
I didn't say you can't legislate based off of morals. But those morals need to be pervasive (i.e. murder being immoral). This porn thing seems to be a strange sticking point for you and you want to enforce that on the masses for... reasons.
do you think you know more about what I said than I do?
@Lord Zedd
Because he is saying that the people who wrote/ratified the Constitution misinterpreted it.
@JetPuffed so if salon normalizes pedos then we shouldn't prosecute it, because it's not "morally pervasive"?
Which means he necessarily is saying his understanding is more accurate
Which is crazy.
I never said anyone misinterpreted anything.
Lol.
