if not just technology it's basically our philosophy when you use science or technology as your God instead of God Almighty then you reorient your worldview to think that freedom comes from the ability to do whatever you want rather than to do whatever is right and moral

For example let's say somebody is addicted to pornography they might have a bunch of technology that turns off a pornography on their cell phone and on a laptop but unless they have self control ultimately they'll just stop all those applications that are preventing them
