That's pretty nice
Thanks
My mom got the treadmill from a friend for free, the bench press I got from my uncle for free, and the dumbbells my dad got me for my birthday
Looking to add a punching bag with my own cash
I pretty much only have dumbells and I got those for free
You can do a lot with dumbbells
Anyways I gotta go

I think my main issue is snacking outside my main meals
Possibly but if you counted calories all of that would be taken into the count
No
Counting calories is annoying. I seldom have an idea what my mum will make
No way I can work out calories for a meal she makes herself when she does everything by eye
That's the easiest thing you can do so if you can't do that then have fun dying at 40 lmfao
You can make your own stuff usually
It's not hard to make eggs for breakfast
And then dinner you can guestimate
The way I do it
Well, more like one real mean a day but
I usually have a Soylent or something in the morning which is easy af to track
And then I have dinner which I usually have to guestimate but I can usually track enough of it to get a good estimation. I always estimate conservatively too
For example if we're having something where the main dish is rice
It's pretty easy to track the calories in rice
Pasta is the same idea
@Danacrag If you're over 20 focus on moving out of your parents house, not health
And you can't expect to lose weight without any exercise
Your problem isn't an occasional snack, I have a 6 pack and eat entire cakes myself
Your problem is that you don't burn anything off
@Deleting User Soylent is overrated tbh
Ignoring the stupid right wing insult, I do understand the benefits of soy but it's really not that great
@Danacrag Counting calories isn't worth it. Just eat healthy things. If your mom cooks something that's really bad for you, then say you're full.
Mind you, a steak is not unhealthy (in regards to losing weight) despite what peoole say
You have to do research into what foods are truly unhealthy and what foods are just framed to be bad
Steak is a very low carb meal high in protein
Protein takes long to break down so if you have a meat based diet, or protein in general, you won't feel hungry as often. This is increasing leptin levels, I'm pretty sure.
Low carb diet, lifting weights, intermittent fasting, and occasional running. All you need.
Btw intermittent fasting is you only eat in an 8 hour window. Which is a lot, because this means that you have 16 hours where you don't eat, take out 8 hours of sleep (which you NEED to be getting, great for 1000 different reasons), then it's just 8 hours where you don't eat.
