It means gearbest will cover a package that isn't delivered

2017-03-07 06:28:40 UTC

what does that mean

2017-03-07 06:28:46 UTC

they will refund?

2017-03-07 06:29:32 UTC

`Our shipping insurance covers any transportation damage or package loss.
We will send you a replacement package free of charge if we confirm that your package has been lost in transit or damage due to the delivery process. If the item is no longer in stock, we will offer you a refund.`

2017-03-07 06:31:13 UTC

2017-03-07 06:31:33 UTC

I received a PS2 to USB adapter today and upon receiving it, i realised the thing may have a keylogger. Anyone know how i could check if it does?

2017-03-07 09:39:04 UTC

pop it open boi

2017-03-07 09:39:26 UTC

give us a pic of it, I wanna see how generic it looks and if anything fishy stands out

2017-03-07 09:40:59 UTC

No screws on it, unfortunately 😦

2017-03-07 09:41:04 UTC

rip

2017-03-07 09:41:29 UTC

either you use it and have a paranoia mindset or you pry it open and kinda glue/tape it up after

2017-03-07 09:41:45 UTC

I have a feeling it's made of that rubbery kinda fragile plastic

2017-03-07 09:42:17 UTC

are keyloggers in that kind of equipment an actual thing ?

2017-03-07 09:43:41 UTC

whelp already shattered one of my magnets

2017-03-07 09:43:47 UTC

I wouldn't think so unless it was kinda chunky enough to fit some sort of chip and send some info to tell the pc to connect and send the info somewhere. That or it just secretely installs something.

2017-03-07 09:44:47 UTC

Well traffic analysis could do the job then

2017-03-07 09:44:58 UTC

i have enough

2017-03-07 09:45:03 UTC

for what i need to do

2017-03-07 10:04:21 UTC

I had a look inside, prying the thing apart, but with some how nothing breaking and there's a ceramic cap and a black blob on the inside

2017-03-07 10:04:58 UTC

Doubt that says anything

2017-03-07 11:00:40 UTC

I plugged it in, works fine. Not seeing anything suspicious so far

2017-03-07 11:03:39 UTC

ur keys have already been logged

2017-03-07 11:05:26 UTC

damn chinks

2017-03-07 11:06:05 UTC

I checked the adapter though device manager, and it seems to just use a Microsoft driver, so i'm probably fine
