Not much else at your pricepoint. If you see "mineral crystal" or "miyota" those are good things

2017-06-09 20:42:36 UTC

>fake subdials
I wouldn't wear that kind of thing. Even at that price point I have standards

2017-06-09 20:44:17 UTC

Normies can pay $130ish for watches with faux chrono pushers and/or subdials with glued on hands

2017-06-09 20:45:24 UTC

oh shit i forgot about this server

2017-06-09 20:45:30 UTC

I don't know jack shit about watches or anything luxury

2017-06-09 20:45:45 UTC

But I throw up in my mouth a little bit everytime I see subdials like that

2017-06-09 20:45:51 UTC

any of you own a chinkpad x220

2017-06-09 20:45:55 UTC

x230

2017-06-09 20:45:56 UTC

The lower end nomos knockoffs do come in that variety. Also just because the dial says nomos doesn't make it Bauhaus or at all related. Look at the styling (and materials) over what it says. Ideally it doesn't say anything at all.

2017-06-09 20:46:11 UTC

i was a bit hasty with buying it

2017-06-09 20:46:24 UTC

wanted a 3.0 port on my laptop

2017-06-09 20:46:28 UTC

but got the i5

2017-06-09 20:46:35 UTC

those docks any good

2017-06-09 20:47:11 UTC

I don't have a dock for my memepad, but docks in general are very useful

2017-06-09 20:47:37 UTC

x230 was probably my best purchase to this day. You won't regret buying a memepad

2017-06-09 20:48:04 UTC

sturdy as they come?

2017-06-09 20:50:02 UTC

There are some issues, like express card slots springs a little bit if you press on top of it but in general sturdier than a samsung or any other brand that's on the same price range

2017-06-09 20:50:02 UTC

shits gonna be carried around a lot

2017-06-09 20:50:17 UTC

gotcha

2017-06-09 20:50:59 UTC

And it has a matte surface

2017-06-09 20:51:10 UTC

Scratches won't show up that much

2017-06-09 20:51:17 UTC

So good for carrying around

2017-06-09 20:52:13 UTC

went with the x lineup because shit seems portable as hell

2017-06-09 20:52:20 UTC

fit in a backpack on its own

2017-06-09 20:53:37 UTC

have you tried the msata port hidden under the keyboard with any ssd's and what not

2017-06-09 20:54:19 UTC

I already have a ssd on it, so, no

2017-06-09 20:54:45 UTC

kk

2017-06-09 20:54:56 UTC

all the questions i really had

2017-06-09 20:54:59 UTC

thanks for the help

2017-06-09 20:57:15 UTC

No big deal

2017-06-09 20:57:26 UTC

You can message me if you need to know something specific

2017-06-09 21:15:19 UTC

So I'm looking to buy 5-6mm diameter, 1mm thickness plastic discs. It looks kinda impossible to find without a fucking hole in the middle.

2017-06-09 21:15:49 UTC

Meanwhile, I can buy hundreds of bloody neodymium magnets in that exact size for pennies.

2017-06-09 21:15:51 UTC

👍

2017-06-09 21:19:00 UTC

I also have a thinkpad x230

2017-06-09 21:19:18 UTC

they are great

2017-06-09 21:19:34 UTC

I've been using them on fighting game tournaments for handling the stream

2017-06-09 21:19:46 UTC

it's not optimal for this task but its better than nothing

2017-06-09 21:20:24 UTC

the 2520m decent upgrade for me

2017-06-09 21:20:32 UTC

using an old sandy bridge pentium

2017-06-09 21:20:37 UTC

in my laptop
