pulse audio fucking me over

my m6 pro's cable has a mic on it

and since there's only a single jack of audio out and mic in on these thinkpads pulse audio is disabling the internal mic for the shitty on on my m6 pros

anyway i can enable the internal mic again

pulseaudio shuts off my internal mic

when that is plugged in

as the mic and and the audio out is all in one port

and i have no way of just having audio out

my question was how to make pulse audio not auto mute my internal mic so i can use it for discord

instead of the one on my earbuds
