i'm prooobably actually gonna go for a router over a knee mill, easier to cut front panels and such plus i don't need to work with steel

right now i just have a couple fdm machines, they're neat and all and i can work with a loooot of materials with em since my hotend gets up to 300C and i have a pretty good fume-catching setup, but like you can only do thermoplastics with those
or just harvests it from shit like i do
sure nylon is cool, polyurethane is cool, but i want metal too
i live down the road from the industrial side of town
i can get any material i need, hell i can usually ask a buddy for some scrap and they go "yeah sure take i"

60/40 virgin abs resin / recycled shells gives you serviceable plastic blend for anything where strength isnt critical

be aware though uv resin is about as expensive as good quality rtv silicone
it's not cheap like fdm
