Like taking care of my Aunt's kid.
Keeping the house maintenanced, etc.
I had a project I was trying with my Pi 2, but never got it off the ground
In a crisis situation, I can fit the party's encryption keys and critical info into my ass with only minor discomfort.
Raspberry Pi is the easiest way to get into programming, Linux, and IOT
On my Pi 3
I was trying to make it an OBM card for my PC, which I used to RDP into from work and had an issue where it needed to be rebooted periodically
Damn.
I haven't screwed much with robotics or home automation. I ought to. For me, they're just handy for compartmentalizing components.
but now I work from home and I fixed the rebooting issue anyway
I know I am also learning Python.
I like WattOS for solar projects though
I should learn python. I've avoided ruby and python forever.
I have an Alexa that manages much of my home automation
Raspbian is handy for guys who actually want packages.
Python is the best language for physical devices.
Robots and such
(((Alexa)))
>home automation
What is this Googlery
She gets unplugged when I'm doing something I don't want her to hear
Rasbian is another one of my favorite OS's
Ubuntu has always been lackluster for me tbh
Maybe after TWP wins the lawsuit, we can afford a set of dedicated servers for practicing PenTesting.
I've always been averse to home automation. It would have to be my pis and my setup, because I don't trust anybody else's devices or code in my personal space like that.
@MadKicker I would love to do that 😇
but controlling my lights, making my morning coffee and playing music/giving me the daily news is great
We intend to invest it in a TradYacht as part of our seastead ethnostate project.
Heimbach's going to go full L. Ron Hubbard.
Nice.
Was just going to mention that
"Appalachia doesn't have a coast though"
"Yet"
hahaha
Heh
We'll dig ourselves a canal running straight through Charlottesville.
Big if true
