2017-07-02 22:47:23 UTC

it's not amazon who does it

2017-07-02 22:47:34 UTC

it's sellers who dropship

2017-07-02 22:47:44 UTC

like they're just the middleman who sells ali shit to amazon and takes a cut

2017-07-02 22:51:50 UTC

How do people normally keep their earphones tidy?

2017-07-02 23:17:40 UTC

i use hooks on a wall

2017-07-02 23:17:42 UTC

2017-07-02 23:48:00 UTC

Is there some cool dog shit what I could buy to my friends new dog?

2017-07-02 23:53:16 UTC
2017-07-02 23:57:11 UTC

where your fingerprint data is stored

2017-07-02 23:57:22 UTC

I'm too sceptic to use fingerprint scanner

2017-07-03 00:36:27 UTC

fingerprint data is stored in what they like to call a "secure enclave"

2017-07-03 00:36:42 UTC

in laymans terms there's a hash on the fingerprint sensor and one in the phone

2017-07-03 00:36:52 UTC

they have to match for it to work so it acts like an encryption

2017-07-03 00:37:05 UTC

and all of the scanning is done on a chip in the scanner

2017-07-03 00:37:17 UTC

so all the device sees is a yes or no if a fingerprint is good

2017-07-03 00:37:29 UTC

its okay im pretty sure the chinks can just fake fingerprints anyway

2017-07-03 00:37:36 UTC

that too

2017-07-03 00:38:17 UTC

my dog fucks with those rawhide things i'd get a ton of those for el doggo

2017-07-03 00:58:14 UTC

who wants to buy me something from ali

2017-07-03 00:58:52 UTC

You shouldn't look at fingerprints as a form of absolute security anyway. They're like glass windows. Enough to deter the vast majority of threats but anyone who wants to get through will get through. But at the same time, I don't want to live in the dark with solid titanium windows. Convenience vs security here.

2017-07-03 01:17:10 UTC

there's always a security bottlneck tho

2017-07-03 01:17:21 UTC

as in the failover for a fingerprint is a pin

2017-07-03 01:17:26 UTC

which is less secure

2017-07-03 01:17:47 UTC

so unless your ONLY security measure was a fingerprint which is a bad idea it's just convenience at this point

2017-07-03 01:31:34 UTC

@Resident Shekelman dont shitpost in <#287939846662651906> 😡
