uptime isn't 100% yet because it hasnt ran for 24 hours
I'm in The Hague, nearby Rotterdam Airport
couple hours ago I also picked up an emergency helicopter 😄
looking pretty sound
yup
hoping to expand the range when I get the new antenna, it comes with a 3 meter cable which should allow me to chuck it onto the roof
though I'll probably mount a wooden plate on it so it stays upright lol
if I can get the second sdr working on the orange pi zero then that's going to be awesome

what software are you using btw? the one from flightradar24?
@transience also samsung is more reliable and faster
Looks like even the Amazon KingDians ship from China, which makes me a little skeptical about the warranty
Probably going to go for the eBay EVOs
@transience yup, Amazon has been letting Chinese stores on for a while now
They should at least state the item location like eBay though
I've accidentally bought chink shit once from amazon for £2 more
since then, I always check for amazon stufff on ali before buying
saved me a ton
pretty sleezy of Amazon ye
it's not amazon who does it
like they're just the middleman who sells ali shit to amazon and takes a cut
How do people normally keep their earphones tidy?
i use hooks on a wall
anal hooks
Is there some cool dog shit what I could buy to my friends new dog?
What did they mean by this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAp7nhUUOJE&feature=youtu.be
where your fingerprint data is stored
I'm too sceptic to use fingerprint scanner
fingerprint data is stored in what they like to call a "secure enclave"
in laymans terms there's a hash on the fingerprint sensor and one in the phone
they have to match for it to work so it acts like an encryption
and all of the scanning is done on a chip in the scanner
so all the device sees is a yes or no if a fingerprint is good
its okay im pretty sure the chinks can just fake fingerprints anyway
that too
my dog fucks with those rawhide things i'd get a ton of those for el doggo
who wants to buy me something from ali
You shouldn't look at fingerprints as a form of absolute security anyway. They're like glass windows. Enough to deter the vast majority of threats but anyone who wants to get through will get through. But at the same time, I don't want to live in the dark with solid titanium windows. Convenience vs security here.
there's always a security bottlneck tho
as in the failover for a fingerprint is a pin
