dunno. the c2q is a capable cpu even today but i dont know how well itd run in that scenario

But the C2Q is probably one of the best CPUs you can get from Gear, unless you can get something from the Core i series or bulldozer
in your area do they have uni surplus stores?
sometimes they do quick sales of old equipment, not a store I don't think
