2017-07-15 18:41:52 UTC

The only thing that is cheaper in Switzerland compared to Italy are electronics

2017-07-15 18:42:00 UTC

Everything else is cheaper in Italy

2017-07-15 18:42:37 UTC

really tho? but paychecks are highier so that kinda makes up for it

2017-07-15 18:43:06 UTC

Yes I get almost 400% of what I got in Italy for the same job

2017-07-15 18:43:25 UTC

You should consider

2017-07-15 18:44:19 UTC

i'm still young, studying c# programming, will absolutely consider in the future

2017-07-15 18:45:16 UTC

Nice, .NET is fun

2017-07-15 18:56:57 UTC

@Rikiar It's my phone -- onboard soundcard can't drive these

2017-07-15 18:57:00 UTC

That's insane

2017-07-15 18:57:22 UTC

what phone do you have? i never heard anything like that

2017-07-15 18:57:30 UTC

redmi n3p

2017-07-15 18:57:53 UTC

shiiiiitttt i have redmi 3 pro

2017-07-15 18:58:05 UTC

wait how tf did you manage that with the ZS5

2017-07-15 18:58:10 UTC

theyre pretty damn efficient

2017-07-15 18:58:22 UTC

yeah that sound strange to me too

2017-07-15 18:59:32 UTC

I have to nigger-adaptor my way to getting these plugged into my ~1980 Kenwood amp

2017-07-15 18:59:37 UTC

What can your redmi not drive?

2017-07-15 18:59:47 UTC

kz zs5

2017-07-15 18:59:48 UTC

eiaosi x6

2017-07-15 19:00:06 UTC

For what reason?

2017-07-15 19:00:26 UTC

No, my RN3P gets them so loud they sputter out and go into a 5 second paralasys

2017-07-15 19:00:39 UTC

tf

2017-07-15 19:00:52 UTC

Onboard sound on my PC they are very quiet

2017-07-15 19:01:14 UTC

@Deleted User similar with my Redmi Note 3 Pro and Sennheiser ie 800, they overdrive really loud that I feel they will explode at some point

2017-07-15 19:01:15 UTC

that's pretty gronked

2017-07-15 19:01:18 UTC

But only with Spotify

2017-07-15 19:01:38 UTC

ew the ie800

2017-07-15 19:02:06 UTC

it did happen with spotify -- i tried just playing an mp3 but it was a prank call (LPC) so i didnt prescribe it to spotify

2017-07-15 19:02:20 UTC

well i guess i'll just keep them at 50% audio on my phone

2017-07-15 19:03:07 UTC

that might be too loud...

2017-07-15 19:03:09 UTC

I know that poweramp does some additional weird magic, which is what I use besides Spotify

2017-07-15 19:03:26 UTC

So maybe Spotify is not the problem, but somehow poweramp has a more generic solution

2017-07-15 19:03:36 UTC

what do you mean by weird magic?

2017-07-15 19:03:59 UTC

spotify has a shitty attempt at gain control built in

2017-07-15 19:04:15 UTC

so maybe there's a software fix for this?

2017-07-15 19:04:51 UTC

if it happens on multiple devices then it isnt a software issue

2017-07-15 19:05:07 UTC

Poweramp has some additional layers between. I remember the initial reason for me to buy poweramp in 2009 was because my HTC Desire could not have an equalizer because of the sound chip, and yet poweramp offered one
