I am half Italian and half German. Italians say I'm German and Germans say I'm Italian, I guess that is what would happen in a larger scale

2017-08-18 14:09:50 UTC

One of her sisters is CUTE

2017-08-18 14:10:13 UTC

Yeah I feel you

2017-08-18 14:10:21 UTC

My girlfriend is Serbian-Dutch

2017-08-18 14:10:34 UTC

And neither side accepts her fully

2017-08-18 14:10:57 UTC

Worsened by the fact that she's Bosnian-Serb

2017-08-18 14:10:57 UTC

tfw prussian (yes, literally) and I dislike most gerrmans. they're commie rape babies of WW2 and cucked to the brim since all the brave people died

2017-08-18 14:11:13 UTC

But Prussia is no longer a thing

2017-08-18 14:11:25 UTC

My fellow neighbor

2017-08-18 14:11:51 UTC

Gdansk was Prussian, right?

2017-08-18 14:12:29 UTC

2017-08-18 14:14:43 UTC

My German is laggy tho

2017-08-18 14:15:12 UTC

I can read it well but speaking it is pretty damn hard

2017-08-18 14:15:15 UTC

Anyway Lorraine is French

2017-08-18 14:17:37 UTC

The Germans took it from us first and crippled our economy deliberately, taking it back wasn't exactly humane after Germans lived on it for quite some time after the establishment of the German empire tho

2017-08-18 14:18:15 UTC

what I wanted to say before is that since we now live in Switzerland, that might be the best place for the kid to grow up. No need to seek for acceptance as a national when the whole family is obviously foreign. Also second generation chinks in Switzerland might accept a mixed kid into society more easy as mixed people might be occuring more often

2017-08-18 14:18:43 UTC

I think, that should solve the identity issue

2017-08-18 14:18:54 UTC

I think it's good that you are looking into it this way

2017-08-18 14:19:31 UTC

Most people just bunk with someone, have kids, and then expect the world to accept them without question

2017-08-18 14:19:50 UTC

Without wondering what is and what isn't the right environment

2017-08-18 14:20:15 UTC

yea

2017-08-18 14:21:11 UTC

Also people don't often mention how Lorraine as taken from France in a pretty brutal manner to try and demoralize them, and sort of take France's power from them since Lorraine was and still is heavy in resources

2017-08-18 14:21:38 UTC

So during ww1 France was pretty deadset on getting it back

2017-08-18 14:22:11 UTC

Plus France has some pretty fair rules in that area, it's basically somewhat shared between France and Germany in many ways

2017-08-18 14:22:34 UTC

Like import-export of products is pretty simple, both languages are supported

2017-08-18 14:23:08 UTC

Most people in Lorraine or lotharingen or whatever you want to call it are fine with it

2017-08-18 14:26:11 UTC

Plus Lorraine was quite liberal, catholic, which left a lot of tension when it was part of conservative and militaristic Germany

2017-08-18 14:27:00 UTC

i thought this was csg

2017-08-18 14:27:04 UTC
