@fuckthapolice i had customs not give me my shit because they didnt believe the declared value
i had to show them proof of payment
thats what i meant actually
undervaluing doesnt mean shit here
that's how it goes down here as well if they don't believe it
they check almost everything that comes from china
i was too much of a pussy to shop my paypal payment though
the smaller the packet the easier it is to get around customs
yeah but even then
its hard to jew the custom jew
to be fair, only my gearbest purchases ever got to customs
3/3 on gb, 0/20 from ali
I've had a package overvalued and it was over the threshold
The seller paid the $180 fees, I felt kind of bad for him since it was meant to be $240
theres always the risk of the power that be holding on to your package if its undervalued and they smell the shekel
id rather do it all legit tbh
the item's price was $240
Could the chinks fake an invoice or would customs want a bank statement?
here they just wanted a screenshot of the purchase from ebay
so it could easily been fixed with
I was an honest guy back then, so just took the bill
It's worth it
@sludge I thought about faking my proof of payment, but figured it wasnt worth 7€ i would have saved vs. 600€ potential fine for fraud
you can almost take for granted that they will write $20 on the box and not leave a receipt inside
ask them if unsure
I've never had an instance where that wasn't the case though
its not usualy worth the jailtime
The fees here are $50 +15% of (purchase + shipping) if (purchase + shipping) is over $40
so $400 becoms $510
15% without admin fee?
admin fee is $50
<:hms:311152554618912768>
I thought it was bad with parcelforce's £9
I don't mind paying the tax
customs workers gotta get paid
it's the admin fee that makes lower value items not worth it
So for me undervaluing things that are under 400 is pointless anyway
And I'm rarely buying things over 400
Jesus Christ
Living in third would country must suck
