2017-10-09 16:28:34 UTC

I have those ones because my chink always makes me rice + random dish for work

2017-10-09 16:30:08 UTC

But would you trust chink lunch boxes or rather not because of some toxic plastics?

2017-10-09 16:30:28 UTC

When I was in Taiwan, I saw a lot of such boxes for under 0.50 $ / each

2017-10-09 16:32:03 UTC

If I wasn't microwaving I'd trust them.

2017-10-09 16:32:21 UTC

I don't microwave even my microwave-ready boxes

2017-10-09 16:32:27 UTC

too afraid of deforming

2017-10-09 16:33:34 UTC

I have some glass ones I use from time to time. Honestly easier to just have food that tastes better or just as good room temp.

2017-10-09 16:35:26 UTC

tbh

2017-10-09 16:35:32 UTC

microwaved rice tastes better than fresh rice

2017-10-09 16:36:20 UTC

<:thenk:329322130804047872>

2017-10-09 16:36:25 UTC

highly doubt that

2017-10-09 16:36:31 UTC

arent you living in riceland?

2017-10-09 16:36:51 UTC

define riceland

2017-10-09 16:37:12 UTC

Gross. Nothing better than getting fresh rice from the cooker or nice solid cool rice.

2017-10-09 16:37:30 UTC

chink eye asia

2017-10-09 16:37:36 UTC

no, I wish

2017-10-09 16:37:51 UTC

I applied at xiaomi for a position in beijing, if they take me, I'll move

2017-10-09 16:38:08 UTC

nice i guess

2017-10-09 16:38:28 UTC

I'm just in Taiwan very often because my girlfriend is Taiwanese but I don't live there

2017-10-09 16:38:42 UTC

And finding a job in tech in Taiwan is hard because there are enough techy Taiwanese

2017-10-09 16:39:03 UTC

the whole software market is just fucked up

2017-10-09 16:39:22 UTC

why not japan

2017-10-09 16:39:28 UTC

getting nice gaijin bonus

2017-10-09 16:40:06 UTC

Then rather Hong Kong or Singapore

2017-10-09 16:40:18 UTC

Bigger westerner bonus, English speaking society

2017-10-09 16:41:02 UTC

Honestly the next thing will probably be micro factories and small production after the coming collapse or deflation of China's weird subsidy system.

2017-10-09 16:41:15 UTC

Going to need to be your own boss because no one would be hiring.

2017-10-09 16:41:33 UTC

yes we thought about that

2017-10-09 16:41:47 UTC

Provided the internet doesn't get destroyed through censorship and regulation

2017-10-09 16:42:15 UTC

since my girlfriend is also studying computer science, we could easily set up something by ourselves. Like trying to get software projects in Europe and lead a team of cheaper devs in China to realise it

2017-10-09 16:43:06 UTC

but I don't think the crash will be that big

2017-10-09 16:43:24 UTC

most probably some of the bigger companies, especially the multinational ones, will be stable enough by themselves

2017-10-09 16:43:31 UTC

also the industry in the rest of the world will be more fucked

2017-10-09 16:45:11 UTC

Honestly it depends on how flexible the supply chain will be by the time it happens.

Not much spoken about it but domestic CNC manufacturing and other assisted manufacturing tech is going through a surge right now.

2017-10-09 16:46:11 UTC

can you please elaborate?
