idk how much those things are supposed to cost

2017-11-03 15:28:05 UTC

unironically

2017-11-03 15:28:23 UTC

i dont either, but they are probably more than that locally

2017-11-03 15:28:27 UTC

i trust the chinks in that regard

2017-11-03 15:28:40 UTC

@refinery have you checked the infographic?

2017-11-03 15:28:45 UTC

that gives you a good idea what's best to buy from chinks

2017-11-03 15:28:53 UTC

where is it

2017-11-03 15:28:56 UTC

<#247481427803897866> ?

2017-11-03 15:29:01 UTC

yeah

2017-11-03 15:29:33 UTC

Infographic: http://chinkshit.xyz/infographic.pdf

2017-11-03 15:30:08 UTC

the only thing the chinks didnt manage to conquer yet is used goods

2017-11-03 15:30:17 UTC

cant find used tenga eggs anywhere on aliex

2017-11-03 15:30:24 UTC

e-readers

2017-11-03 15:30:30 UTC

since we get that question every thread

2017-11-03 15:30:35 UTC

if they make an e-reader they're set

2017-11-03 15:31:58 UTC

yeah i need a boom stand and pop filter for my microphone

2017-11-03 15:32:05 UTC

prob just gonna go with aliexpress or something

2017-11-03 15:32:08 UTC

don't care much for quality

2017-11-03 15:32:24 UTC

wonder how the bm-800 holds vs a blue yeti

2017-11-03 15:33:21 UTC

Ok so let's rank the best chink countries

2017-11-03 15:34:00 UTC

@refinery bm-800 beats a blue yeti but it does require phantom power

2017-11-03 15:34:09 UTC

blue yeti is only memed because twitch streamers are paid by blue to do so

2017-11-03 15:34:17 UTC

>tfw no chink made home gym

2017-11-03 15:35:42 UTC

do you need phantom power?

2017-11-03 15:35:45 UTC

i got my blue yeti for $50

2017-11-03 15:35:59 UTC

seems pretty close to the yeti in sound

2017-11-03 15:36:24 UTC

yeah you can't really plug a bm-800 direct into PC, it requires power

2017-11-03 15:36:33 UTC

the blue yeti works by packing phantom power inside of it

2017-11-03 15:36:42 UTC

the USB connection charges it up

2017-11-03 15:37:11 UTC

I don't mind though, it means I can easily upgrade to better mics like the audio technica ones one day

2017-11-03 15:37:20 UTC

or Rode

2017-11-03 15:38:16 UTC

what do you use for power

2017-11-03 15:38:21 UTC

interesting in getting a bm-800

2017-11-03 15:40:16 UTC

I used to use a chink phantom power box, now I use a focusrite scarlet solo

2017-11-03 15:41:44 UTC

got it refurbished off ebay for fairly cheap

2017-11-03 15:43:37 UTC

you can use a USB sound card to power the BM-800 decently well but nothing as good as full phantom power

2017-11-03 15:48:36 UTC

@refinery if you have a blue yeti though that's fine for most things

2017-11-03 15:48:40 UTC

I'd spend the money elsewhere

2017-11-03 15:48:55 UTC

yeah i'll just get the stand + filter

2017-11-03 15:49:13 UTC

i see even for a simple one like you have (scarlet solo) quite an investment
