@Pinkorek is it okay at least? All my content is encoded x264 10-20Mbps bitrate and 720p/1080p so I'd thought it'd be fine

I think for the moment kodi can only do s/w decoding and it had issues playing 720p stuff from YouTube through plugin

well, it played it, but for the first 10 secs or so the sound was choppy

it has hw decoding as of 17.2
