All right, I think I'll just get the A6 though. It doesn't need to be really bright ass at all for my use. We get fog from time to time but then I'll just flip out a second light or maybe eventually I'll get the Q8 or a different stronger light.

I would say not worth the risk, quality cells are reasonable enough. The best cells are still single digit prices, especially if you're getting ones for that A6, you only need 1.

There's a ton of options, but you can get by with only $5 if you want. I forget which LiitoKala charger it is, but they're decent.

There's all sorts of things you can concern yourself with on chargers, but basically just get something that doesn't blow up batteries, because the worst-case past that is it prematurely wears the cells out, and you gotta buy a second battery next year.

Oh, @Millwood, https://www.imrbatteries.com/sanyo-ncr18650ga-3500mah-10a-flat-top-battery/ are probably the best batteries you could get for that. A6 has low voltage protection, so you can use unprotected cells.
