2018-05-18 19:42:14 UTC

@Millwood what Julian said, go for the Ikea batteries

2018-05-18 19:42:31 UTC

the white ones have more capacity

2018-05-18 19:42:47 UTC

brown ones are more useful in stuff like TV remotes

2018-05-18 19:42:52 UTC

white is right 👌

2018-05-18 19:43:00 UTC

and brown ones arent rechargeable iirc

2018-05-18 19:43:07 UTC

they are @Julian

2018-05-18 19:43:11 UTC

Yeah, even chink ones are more expensive so I'll get those when I'm in ikea

2018-05-18 19:43:23 UTC

based ikea batteries

2018-05-18 19:43:34 UTC

Ikea sells non-rechargeable batteries too but those are silver+yellow

2018-05-18 19:44:45 UTC

I replaced pretty much every regular battery in my house with rechargeables from Ikea

2018-05-18 19:44:54 UTC

most of the light bulbs are LED

2018-05-18 19:45:14 UTC

very eco friendly household

2018-05-18 19:47:36 UTC

How often do you have to recharge the ikea batteries?

2018-05-18 19:48:16 UTC

depends on what you use them for and how often you use them

2018-05-18 20:01:51 UTC

I've tried searching alibaba and can't seem to find a fitness tracker that has oxygen+bp+hr that also has an open source app to use with it. I am mainly needing it for my grandpa so that we can be alerted to changes in his health.

2018-05-18 20:02:07 UTC

oxygen?

2018-05-18 20:03:24 UTC

oxygen readings, the miband which I know works with gadgetbridge only does HR

2018-05-18 20:03:42 UTC

How the hell would you measure that woth a watch

2018-05-18 20:04:54 UTC

Yeah, you'd need blood samples for oxygen

2018-05-18 20:05:22 UTC

a pulse oximeter

2018-05-18 20:05:44 UTC

it uses a flashing light and some sort of sensor to read the oxygen levels.

2018-05-18 20:05:55 UTC

not perfect but still it's "good enough" as a rough guideline.

2018-05-18 20:06:28 UTC

Will never work on a wrist

2018-05-18 20:06:38 UTC

You need something on both sides

2018-05-18 20:06:45 UTC

And as thin as a finger

2018-05-18 20:06:53 UTC

what the fuck gearbest just messaged me on facebook

2018-05-18 20:06:54 UTC

ok then

2018-05-18 20:07:58 UTC

this which is on amazon which is just a rebrand of various chinese versions says it works.

2018-05-18 20:09:19 UTC

Thats blood pressure, what the hell are you on about

2018-05-18 20:09:25 UTC

basically something like that, since apparently they can do it. No idea how it works but verified purchasers say it was on the money.

2018-05-18 20:10:02 UTC

reviewer with verified purchase states it does oxygen somehow.

2018-05-18 20:10:14 UTC

According to what metric?

2018-05-18 20:10:37 UTC

Also the link is broken

2018-05-18 20:10:42 UTC

some random reviewer on amazon. I just need something that's close enough as my grandpa hates wearing a blood pressure cuff.

2018-05-18 20:11:05 UTC

Do you mean oxegen or blood pressure
