Why? Get laser.
I've got laser.
How do they compare to the oem stuff?
Pretty good. 3/3 of my OEM ones are good, 2/18 of my Chinese ones have the gloss layer just sliiightly offset, so there's a tiny line of matte on one side, and some loose tape with no adhesive on the other. Another couple arrived super crooked or wrinkled, but tracked back into place after a couple labels, so just waste a few inches off that 8m roll.
I didn't get weird ones, only standard stuff. The extra sticky/flexible ones I'd buy OEM, because I'd be using that somewhere I needed it to stay stuck, like on cables or around chemicals and shit.
Oh, and the black on gold one, the texture is kinda inconsistent, at least on the first 1' or so, it seems to be better now. The gloss layer was kinda spotty, not applying great, like peeling a sticker off of glass and putting it back on, there's gonna be air bubbles.
So 15/18 are great after the first few inches, 1 is a little weird, 2 I'm disappointed in and will message the sellers.
Gonna wait a bit to actually post reviews on the store though, wanna see how they hold up to use. Putting them on credit card readers at work.
ahh label maker the one thing more addictive than cocaine and sugar
once you start its nearly impossible to stop labeling shit
I have the opposite problem... I care about production quality to a fault, so I'm constantly putting off making the labels until I figure out how to perfectly format it and put too much info on them, get juuust the right length, gotta be perfectly straight, etc. I have one of those boxes of drawers for misc screws and shit in my garage that I've been meaning to label for a couple years. Know where everything is at this point though.
Mostly I just keep putting off doing it because it's so much easier to hook it up to the PC to print, but that involves finding cables, where a free USB port is, and making space on my desk for it.
Is there something like an AliExpress for Japanese stuff btw? I keep ending up with awesome office supplies from there. Got me a few varieties of glue tape and a corner radiuser lately. I'd imagine Amazon and JetPens prices can be beat.
Nah, no Klarus stuff yet.
And I can't find a cyan D4 :(
I am eagerly awaiting a second D4Ti though!

@timsandtoms hm, did they stop making the colored D4 versions? that would be sad
I'd message intl outdoor or that American flashlight store that keeps them in stock if I were you
mtn electronics
Well, Intl-Outdoor is the manufacturer. So HE shouldn't run out. Rumor is they're redoing it to not have the rough coating.
>shouldn't
tfw waited 3 weeks because intl was out of stock back when I ordered
oh nvm just two weeks just checked the email
but still, then it took like a month to arrive
and then it arrived the same day as my BLF Q8 <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

>when you're at the point where you save up your money on a third account just to create an artificial need to save money bc you just can't get rid of your money
I'll send you my bank account, transfer all your unneeded money on it
@Millie On the go brand flashlights. They're like knockoff Olights.
I have the blf a6

tfw money raining down on me
WHAT KIND OF ODD CURSE IS THIS
@timsandtoms what do I need a flashlight for tho
You probably don't. But they're fun.
Past having something decent for power outages/checking out that weird noise at night, and maybe a small EDC, most people should stop there.
