TV boxes
someone give me a rundown
are there alternatives to android TV boxes in the sub 50$ area?
what chipset should I choose for android TV boxes?
I have a shitty 1080p monitor so 4k support is probably wasted on me, right?
or do these chipsets offer more snappy usage?
how much ram should I seek?
MI BOX
mi box is the only cheap one
as in
that runs
android TV
not android
my current box is an android TV box from dolamee with 1GB of ram I got for 22$ a year ago
what's the difference between android and android tv desu
better UI etc
and supports full streaming app supporte
e.g netflix will do 5.1 hd
etc
mi box is supposdely one of the best ones tho
Only Android TV approved apps show up in the store on Android TV devices.
oh lol
settling for the logitech thanks a lot though
Reminds me of the james donkey keyboard poster <:thonkang:327933449597878312>
Not denying that, it was merely a statement <:chaika:232792149874311168>
it is bad mouse actually, does not have its own 8core cpu or good optical sensor.
So is massdrop literally just alibaba dropshipping or do they have a distribution centre?
@Amelorate it seems to me that they buy chinkshit, put a logo on it, and sell it at a huge markup
its a mixed bag
if you live in america they actually have decent products
but if you have to pay for shipping you'll get an item for n% off and have to pay n+1% for shipping
Only plus for massdrop is that they sometimes got stuff you don't even seem to get on taobao/alibaba/etc
Else it's really just chink shit drop off
ffs
i have always planned ordering shit at night but I always dont order anything and fall asleep
I take the opposite approach. I stay up late enough to make poor decisions and order $200+ worth of popcorn and popcorn accessories
