keyboards are probably all quite similar

its more a matter of getting the layout and switches you prefer

i have tada68, its nice but wish i got TKL

the one thing i dont like about mechs is the travel distance, i think silvers are like a red that has a shorter press

idk about layout tho i dont think any chink keyboard has the layout i need

what layout u need

if you're looking for a first, throw out any suggestions that don't have hotswap switches. you'll save a fuckton of time and effort soldering different switches, and a fuckton of money since loose switches are cheap

if you arent in a huge rush, massdrop often seems to have some oddly specific layouts at decent price

also tkl is a great size, and lets you get a numpad later if you decide you miss it. It also lets you move the numpad to the left, which is comfy af

but get either fullsize, 98, or TKL for your first

99% its gonna be fullsize feels weird not having numpad

i was never a numpad user mostly used laptops growing up so

the thing that limits me is that i am gonna order from gearbest because they seem to be the only site that uses paypal without having to go trough other stuff

I just strongly prefer my numpad on the left for more mouse space

in the past ive used fasttech with paypal no issues
