2018-06-16 16:21:22 UTC

what are some other budget boards thats atleast decent

2018-06-16 16:21:49 UTC

the ones on the infographic are probably all fine

2018-06-16 16:22:19 UTC

keyboards are probably all quite similar

2018-06-16 16:22:34 UTC

its more a matter of getting the layout and switches you prefer

2018-06-16 16:23:38 UTC

i have tada68, its nice but wish i got TKL

2018-06-16 16:26:23 UTC

i see

2018-06-16 16:26:40 UTC

will look into all of em a bit more deeply

2018-06-16 16:26:43 UTC

thanks

2018-06-16 16:28:52 UTC

wonder if they sell chink switch testers

2018-06-16 16:29:05 UTC

ive only ever used reds

2018-06-16 16:29:40 UTC

are you looking for a first keyboard, or a next keyboard?

2018-06-16 16:29:56 UTC

me?

2018-06-16 16:30:00 UTC

not really looking but next

2018-06-16 16:30:03 UTC
2018-06-16 16:30:14 UTC

going with reds probably personally and first

2018-06-16 16:30:45 UTC

the one thing i dont like about mechs is the travel distance, i think silvers are like a red that has a shorter press

2018-06-16 16:30:46 UTC

idk about layout tho i dont think any chink keyboard has the layout i need

2018-06-16 16:30:56 UTC

what layout u need

2018-06-16 16:31:18 UTC

if you're looking for a first, throw out any suggestions that don't have hotswap switches. you'll save a fuckton of time and effort soldering different switches, and a fuckton of money since loose switches are cheap

2018-06-16 16:31:40 UTC

if you arent in a huge rush, massdrop often seems to have some oddly specific layouts at decent price

2018-06-16 16:32:20 UTC

also tkl is a great size, and lets you get a numpad later if you decide you miss it. It also lets you move the numpad to the left, which is comfy af

2018-06-16 16:32:54 UTC

i love this cute ass tranny keybaord

2018-06-16 16:33:12 UTC

ok thats really too fucking gay

2018-06-16 16:33:41 UTC

but yeah you dont realise how much you use f keys until u get 60%

2018-06-16 16:33:50 UTC

nah son sakura is fuckin cute

2018-06-16 16:34:06 UTC

yeah don't start with 60%, no matter how many cases you want to try

2018-06-16 16:34:19 UTC

60% is an alright 2nd keyboard

2018-06-16 16:34:40 UTC

but get either fullsize, 98, or TKL for your first

2018-06-16 16:35:01 UTC

99% its gonna be fullsize feels weird not having numpad

2018-06-16 16:35:18 UTC

prob wrong opinion but ye

2018-06-16 16:35:41 UTC

nah u cant really go wrong w fullsize

2018-06-16 16:36:02 UTC

i was never a numpad user mostly used laptops growing up so

2018-06-16 16:37:08 UTC

nah it's fine to go fullsize

2018-06-16 16:37:15 UTC

the thing that limits me is that i am gonna order from gearbest because they seem to be the only site that uses paypal without having to go trough other stuff

2018-06-16 16:37:20 UTC

I just strongly prefer my numpad on the left for more mouse space

2018-06-16 16:38:11 UTC

in the past ive used fasttech with paypal no issues

2018-06-16 16:39:14 UTC

they also seem to offer free shipping and returning custom fees to us

2018-06-16 16:39:15 UTC

60% 4 lyfe

2018-06-16 16:39:17 UTC

that helps lots too

2018-06-16 16:39:18 UTC

o kist perfer it now
