Chinks tend to make okay diamond stones

2018-08-14 00:48:25 UTC

Nost western brands are rebranded chinkshit and the good western brands are chinkshit with higher QC

2018-08-14 00:56:13 UTC

ive seen one too many broken sharpening stone posts

2018-08-14 00:56:44 UTC

also they sell those really cheap but really small stones, i was always interested but i don't think they're practical

2018-08-14 00:59:54 UTC

I understand now what may have contributed to phones growing and having a shittier inner layout

2018-08-14 01:00:30 UTC

it turns out they still use 28nm in modern android CPUs which they had been using for years, at least in 2013 which the model I am looking at is from

2018-08-14 01:00:41 UTC

hence the only option is scaling up

2018-08-14 01:01:03 UTC

modern android (i.e flagship today) are all on 10nm

2018-08-14 01:01:08 UTC

or 14nm for the midrange/low end stuff

2018-08-14 01:01:55 UTC

That's weird

2018-08-14 01:02:10 UTC

Snapdragon 615 is a couple years old but that one is definitely 28nm

2018-08-14 01:02:15 UTC

yes

2018-08-14 01:02:18 UTC

it's a couple years old

2018-08-14 01:02:32 UTC

625 is 14nm

2018-08-14 01:03:02 UTC

helio p25 is 16nm

2018-08-14 01:03:45 UTC

Huh, didnt know there was such a leap. Still, phones grew to their current average size even during the S615 age, so I think it's just being carried on now.

2018-08-14 01:04:15 UTC

would be shitty to market a phone that is weaker than the larger last gens due to the fact you made it smaller again after upsizing last gen

2018-08-14 01:04:34 UTC

eh chips are tiny

2018-08-14 01:04:39 UTC

they'll have minimal impact on phone size

2018-08-14 01:04:57 UTC

comparing my mi2s chipsize with the g8 internals not really imo

2018-08-14 01:05:23 UTC

im surprised at the idfferencew

I'm using the Vention audio card with a Boya BY-M1 and can't get them to work together. It works with the microphone alone, and it recognizes the vention audio card it seems but the microphone won't work with the vention (doesn't pick up any sound). It says all the drivers are up to date. Anyone have experience with this sound card using a microphone? Or any tips on how to get this working? Can't use the microphone on its own because I'm using a laptop with only one microphone socket, and if I plug in mic the mic will work but I have no audio.
