as Holy act"
Granted it wont make as many jobs but for disaster preparedness like self inflating sandbags and cheap generators and power banks it could be pretty useful.
true
also emerency shelters
chinese "package homes"
Eh, i listed things that would be nice if they worked or can have redundancies, for things like shelters I'd defer to the local govt or FEMA.
"Public garden by your local church" https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Steel-structure-buildings-prefab-homes_60475009224.html
an dso on
also chinese prefab container homes are legit stuff (nuclear powerplant what is being built here has some for the turks that work for them

"olkiluoto 3"
i mean they can be nice too https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Cheap-China-Steel-Frame-Prefab-Container_60484792308.html
The point of disaster response is to eventually get people back home.
(Thats example stuff what olkiluoto has is way cheaper :P)
these are cute as fuck
but yeah
And most communties have decent medium term shelter options, if anything spending the money on lawyers to get people sorted insurance wise would be much more useful.
yep
not that those geodesic temporary homes look bad
but they will be bitch to check to fit for national standards
if they are not counted as Tents
Its for wood storage, inspector
"yes see those logs sleeping there"
"even Great H-man used to burn them too for heat"
"he had Jew-logs"
A bunch of burger firms do the shed that totally isnt a cabin *wink wink* thing
i wonder whats the insulation on those doms
and load bearing capability too (snow)
Probably poor
*spray insulation and equipment not included, dear friend

You don't need insulation.
Cant imagine it bears much snow given it'll just slide off
Single-pane glass is totally fine. Ask Britain. 👍
+ the dome shape is pretty good for the load bearing shit anyway.
Single pane glass is fine, and nicer to look through.
dome shape sadly does not help when its geodesic in most cases as the metal bars are usualy thinner and the weight focuses on lowest points (ground level) from top
specialy with wet-snow what packs itself from sides too
