i think the only decent cheap assisted open are probably the kershaw line of speedsafe knives

2018-08-25 05:02:35 UTC

i don't think reputable chink knife companies make em

2018-08-25 07:36:39 UTC

what cool thing can I buy with 20 eu from the chinkland?

2018-08-25 07:38:22 UTC

Loads of mica powder.

2018-08-25 07:40:31 UTC

Wat's that

2018-08-25 07:49:07 UTC

It's like eye shadow without the binder. It's a rock that's kinda iridescent/shiny when powdered, and they add some pigment to it. Turns out China is a great way to get a ton cheap. But there's also almost never a reason to buy any, outside of cosmetic/craft applications.

2018-08-25 07:49:15 UTC

Just the first thing that came to mind, I'd been shopping for it recently.

2018-08-25 07:49:22 UTC

Gonna mix it with epoxy and turn it on a lathe.

2018-08-25 07:52:54 UTC

I have reasons to belive that my chink underdeclared the value of my order on the package.

2018-08-25 07:53:50 UTC

Now it's being inspected by customs and the cainao status says: "Import clearance failure"

2018-08-25 07:54:29 UTC

How bad can this be?

2018-08-25 08:31:26 UTC

Which country?

2018-08-25 08:32:18 UTC

And yeah, they almost assuredly did. I ordered $240 worth of top of the line LEDs from a Chinese company(Yuji) and they marked it as $10.

2018-08-25 08:33:29 UTC

Mexico.

2018-08-25 08:35:21 UTC

No idea how your customs work. Do you get taxed on imports?

2018-08-25 08:35:55 UTC

Yeah, 15% of anything over 50.

2018-08-25 08:36:04 UTC

Worst case is probably them taxing it properly

2018-08-25 08:36:58 UTC

Well, I mean, worst case is probably being beheaded by cartels

2018-08-25 08:37:03 UTC

But second-worst is taxed.

2018-08-25 08:37:11 UTC

lol

2018-08-25 08:38:10 UTC

still that'd be like 20 bucks 😩

2018-08-25 13:13:12 UTC

@Deleted User That's quite a literal who phone and I buy Chinese phones

2018-08-25 13:14:21 UTC

Same. I can't find much info on it either, other than that it is imported by the same company that imports playstations and nintendos to our market

2018-08-25 13:15:12 UTC

It's a somewhat obscure taiwanese company apparently @Tribit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMAX_Technologies

2018-08-25 13:15:46 UTC

That's why their name sounded familiar
