Yeah. Something like that I would try to save the money, I'd buy it from Grizzly or something, where it's still cheap and Chinese, but at least I have a warranty.

I just wanted to see how cheap and janky I can make the sharpening machine, and a cheap Chinese sander fits perfectly with that. Plus I can glue directly to the sander, vs needing to buy a replacement part for my current one.

Ali has em, yeah. Whatever does what you need. I have one of their clamp meters that does inrush, it's nice. I have a couple Fluke 87s for normal meters.

Also there's actually some Chinese market Flukes that are pretty cheap, and a bunch of decent meters for like $20-$30 that come in a variety of identical brands. Really depends how fancy you wanna get.

Get autoranging

Autoranging means you can measure your alkaline battery and it'll tell you it's at 1.653 volts, test your computers 12v rail and see that it's sagging to 11.51 volts, and then jam the leads into the nearest electrical outlet and see that it's putting out 118.2 volts, without having to switch to the 0-20 volt range, 20-100 volt range, then 100-2000 volt range.

And depending on how cheap of a non-autoranging meter you get, without anything blowing up.

Its a cheap feature. Been a while since I looked, but I think you start finding autoranging around the $20 mark. True RMS is where things go up in price. I don't know enough about it to explain what it is.
