and the most confusing thing
the phone is detected in adb when it's not in fastboot
in fastboot windows detects it as "android bootloader interface"
FAILED (Write to device failed (Invalid Argument))
not seeing anything online about it
There is probably a xda thread on this atm
Which phone do you have **Exactly**?
Redmi Note 5
the Chinese model
@Deleted User adb and fastboot are different things
if you see them in one you shouldn't see them in the other
yeah I get you
it's happeneing consistently now
but I'm getting this error, and I have to reboot the phone in fastboot to try again
I literally can't find shit
@Dietrich nice one 👍🏻 i've installed linux mint on the x45. everything works fine.
Good
Kinda want to refund and get this now
but would be bad
so, I can get fastboot to detect the device once, but I check it again and it's lost the fastboot device connection
now I'm getting this
At this point I would try out a VM and shove the USB right too it
You sure this image isn't corrupted?
Try an older version if possible
I have a v3.2.2
that I previously used
Nothing else?

now it's up consistently
