Phones are becoming good enough that upgrades aren’t really required.
Plus Redmis tend to have good community support
community support?
u mean pajeet
Kek
when are the big sales again, 11.11?
I've been using a Redmi Note 3 for 2 years and see no reason to upgrade. It still dos everything I need it to do, doesn't stutter and is on 9.0 with the September security patch
My redmi note 3 has some audio issues. In phone calls the other person hears my voice but it's very quiet. I think it has something to do with the os, but I haven't bothered to look into it because I never call anyone and I receive a phone call about once a month max
I've read it is not that uncommon issue but I'm too lazy to fix because it basically doesn't affect me
I still use my redmi note 3 as a remote control at home
For the chrome cast, Bluetooth speakers, alarm system, robot vacuum, rice cooker etc etc
New redmi sucks because it got notched
It's a shame
I dropped my redmi note 3 so much
the case is cracked, the glass is cracked a little
nowadays phones with 64gb roms and 4 gb ram is a godsend
I had my redmi note 3 struggle to run apps due to low ram
You got the 2gb version?
My 3gb version runs everything without struggle
same here with the 3gb, no issues running anything
I run multiple apps with split screen all the time
Sometimes even YouTube overlays with popup player
The huge screen also makes it super pleasant
just got this $2 wireless charger. works just fine, delivers about 700ma which is plenty enough to keep my phone topped up throughout the day. gets pulled around by the cable on its own, but with the weight of the phone it has good non-slip on the top and bottom
0.7a would take a very long time to charge <:thvnk:332928260004642827>
sure, i'm just using it to top it up a bit when i'm at my desk
didn't expect anything more from it
So 1.4a = 0.7a if this pad has 50% ef
u wot
why do you need to keep your phone topped out
Most the cheap wireless chargers I have seen only offer to turn half of their input power into usable wireless power
Mine does 2 amp to 1 amp wireless @Adam W
oh yeah, that'll be about right, rated input at the bottom is 1.5a
and why wouldn't i want to keep my phone topped up?
if your phone isnt an absolute shitter you should be able to just charge at night right?
theres just no real reason to
Or just charge it when it's not in use
yeah there is, less charge cycles = less wear
I thought draining was better? idk thats how it is for laptops anyhow
thats very old fashioned knowledge
not true for laptops either
