Fuckers keep weaving webs there

2018-10-20 19:39:04 UTC

Well if it's for that then it should be ok?

2018-10-20 19:39:34 UTC

I'll order a couple dollars worth, for the price it's not a bad gamble.

2018-10-20 19:41:45 UTC

My concern was that it would just be camphor scented wax or something, which wouldn't fully evaporate. Pure camphor I can tell when it needs a replacement, because it's not there anymore. Camphor scented I'd need to actually check on, but it'll probably be burried in the corner covered in dust for the anti-spider, and I just don't want to check 37 drawers for the tool chests.

2018-10-20 19:43:18 UTC

Just get a little to try

2018-10-20 19:43:22 UTC

Yeah

2018-10-20 19:43:42 UTC

Picked up 6 packs. Will report back.

2018-10-20 19:46:00 UTC

how do I fuck over roaches

2018-10-20 19:46:04 UTC

the insect kind

2018-10-20 19:46:32 UTC

Clean

2018-10-20 19:47:20 UTC

my room

2018-10-20 19:47:24 UTC

's pretty sterile

2018-10-20 19:47:32 UTC

did the little bugger wander in by accident?

2018-10-20 19:47:43 UTC

If you just have one, probably

2018-10-20 19:47:51 UTC

They gotta get there somehow

2018-10-20 19:48:05 UTC

If you have a bunch, get an exterminator and then stay spotless.

2018-10-20 19:48:34 UTC

speaking of staying spotless

2018-10-20 19:48:40 UTC

you have one of those robovacs right

2018-10-20 19:48:42 UTC

how is it?

2018-10-20 19:50:14 UTC

Yeah, Roomba 614. Payed $32 👌 I love it, and having seen how it works, if it failed, I would 100% replace it, but I'd shop around for a nicer model.

2018-10-20 19:50:32 UTC

it's just a vac, right

2018-10-20 19:50:35 UTC

Yeah

2018-10-20 19:50:42 UTC

not those ones that mop up the floor as well

2018-10-20 19:50:57 UTC

No, but they're pretty cheap relatively

2018-10-20 19:51:05 UTC

Roomba ones are $200 new

2018-10-20 19:51:43 UTC

Xiaome makes a solid contender for robot vacuum, and there's at least two other brands I can't recall.

2018-10-20 19:52:20 UTC

if I were to get a roomba one

2018-10-20 19:52:24 UTC

what would you suggest

2018-10-20 19:52:39 UTC

980/960/i7

2018-10-20 19:52:59 UTC

The high end ones.

2018-10-20 19:53:22 UTC

damn, my max budget is $200

2018-10-20 19:53:24 UTC

This one picks up dirt, but it just drives until it hits something, then randomly rotates, repeat until battery is low.

2018-10-20 19:53:35 UTC

maybe I should just stick to sweeping the floor....

2018-10-20 19:53:51 UTC

Roomba doesn't make one for $200. I think the Xiaome is under $300 though.

2018-10-20 19:54:39 UTC

Get something that you can schedule that also maps the area and had some pathfinding/logic to it, rather than just randomness until low battery.

2018-10-20 19:54:49 UTC

And EMPTY DAILY.

2018-10-20 19:55:16 UTC

>Get something that you can schedule that also maps the area and had some pathfinding/logic to it, rather than just randomness until low battery.
probably me with the cheap electrolux vac I have now

2018-10-20 19:55:16 UTC

Don't hafta clean the filter every time, buy at least dump the dirt cup.

2018-10-20 19:55:16 UTC

kek

2018-10-20 19:56:15 UTC

Ours is also doing maybe 1000sq/ft which is fairly cluttered though.

2018-10-20 19:56:44 UTC

But boy. Random pathfinding struggles with a table and 8 chairs.
