A friend got one from there and it was like plastic from a child's toy

you can repair it yourself assuming you don't have those shitty glued together phones

you can still do it but it will ruin the waterproofing

it's all kinds of glued together

use a hairdrier and pry it open

most connectors will be either ribbon cables

or those lego type connectors

but be warned unless you are patient and can work with tiny fragile things do not do it
