you brought it up LOL

2018-12-31 23:39:21 UTC

they built canoes and huts and shit so yeah

2018-12-31 23:39:24 UTC

they did

2018-12-31 23:39:27 UTC

whats your point

2018-12-31 23:39:35 UTC

like you said, they didnt exploit all of it

2018-12-31 23:39:35 UTC

YOU brought up EXPLOITATION

2018-12-31 23:39:42 UTC

cuz they understand the importance of nature

2018-12-31 23:39:56 UTC

they believed what i believe, land isnt owned by anyone

2018-12-31 23:40:11 UTC

no one was shoved out a vagene with the divine right to own the land

2018-12-31 23:40:12 UTC

but

2018-12-31 23:40:19 UTC

they had clear concepts of land ownership

2018-12-31 23:40:23 UTC

nah they didnt

2018-12-31 23:40:25 UTC

tribes fought over hunting territories

2018-12-31 23:40:31 UTC

you had full scale empires

2018-12-31 23:40:34 UTC

with clear land ownership

2018-12-31 23:40:45 UTC

lions fight for territory too

2018-12-31 23:40:47 UTC

natives weren't ancoms

2018-12-31 23:40:47 UTC

whats your point

2018-12-31 23:40:53 UTC

is this going back to might = right?

2018-12-31 23:41:01 UTC

why're you comparing natives to animals

2018-12-31 23:41:14 UTC

I'm not on either side of this argument, but the Iroquois Confederacy basically centralised due to European arrival, so they had basic concepts of land property and acquisition and a need to represent themselves politically.

2018-12-31 23:41:16 UTC

I haven't even made the point of might=right, you just go off tangents

2018-12-31 23:41:21 UTC

cuz some of their behaviors such as tribalism and territorialism are animal like

2018-12-31 23:41:31 UTC

oof

2018-12-31 23:41:31 UTC

thats why i can make the comparison

2018-12-31 23:41:51 UTC

alexei's animal-like too

2018-12-31 23:41:52 UTC

<:coolpepe:471698334877351966>

2018-12-31 23:41:56 UTC

lol

2018-12-31 23:42:18 UTC

im not saying the natives were perfect

2018-12-31 23:42:36 UTC

im saying your argument of ownership of land based on exploitation makes no frikcing sense

2018-12-31 23:42:47 UTC

I never made that argument lol

2018-12-31 23:43:08 UTC

"land was untamed"

2018-12-31 23:43:22 UTC

ya you did

2018-12-31 23:43:36 UTC

Untamed = not in use. He's arguing negative ownership; that is, natives weren't utilizing the entirety of the continent, so it'd be fallacious to imply they were in ownership of it all.

2018-12-31 23:44:02 UTC

okay fine

2018-12-31 23:44:07 UTC

I think.

2018-12-31 23:44:08 UTC

I dunno.

2018-12-31 23:44:17 UTC

in that case the europeans should have used the land that werent being used

2018-12-31 23:44:23 UTC

You go off on just random tangents and can't get the point I'm making which is that natives didn't own 100% of the landmass, and by your rule of first come first serve, the land is both used by Europeans and Natives specifically. The United States of America is a state for Europeans (hell if generous, for natives and to stretch it further even blacks)

Ideally speaking, blacks should go back to Africa to escape whites and build a better Africa.

2018-12-31 23:44:25 UTC

instead they stole the land the natives had

2018-12-31 23:44:25 UTC

why
