tbh taxing people who earn a higher income is counterproductive
dont you want people to earn more money?
no it isnt because theyre still earning more in total volume
the problem is that dynamic changes once you go past taking more than half of someones income
i feel that in order to have a rich country you need less taxes, including on the rich
perhaps but its more so how much resources are being spent on increasing production and goods that increase real wages
yeah but does the government have any real control over that
if rich people stay rich then the wages will inevitably increase
no, not really
and yes they do
thats why they try to keep a moderate inflation rate and also regulate fractal banking amounts

Reddit Moderators censor comments that suggest a woman should go to the police or call help centers after being raped.
i wanna be rich asf
Hello
hello
I think 70% is extreme, a person should be making 10s of millions a year to hit an extreme bracket like that, imo.
Im also not particularly fond of sudden big changes to the economic structure. Society needs time to adjust and adapt to changes
Hey folks, this places seems very interesting and I look forward to debating political, social and general topics here!
no one said a word for 12 hours
Lmao how active
Is it just me or do the right-wing say "that wasn't real socialism/communism" a lot more than the far left do? I rarely see anyone on the far left who truly dislikes the USSR, Cuba, China, Poland or any others
I've seen right wingers say "that wasn't Fascism" a few times
Well what would you define real communism as?
Weakness to helicopters and the ability to process gravel and dirt instead of food
Lmao, but seriously @Premier Stingy, what would you define it as?
Any country without capitalism, a state run economy and workers owning the means of production. That's was socialism is supposed to be anyway.
And when has "real" communism succeeded and forged a prosperous, profiting economy?
Alongside a clear benefit in social improvement and lifestyle
From the general lack of response, I would suggest that "real" communism has never been able to manage the economy and populous symbiotically. As such, I can see why the right (not just far right) would deem cases such as China or the USSR and its Soviet States as not "real" communism, as it just hasn't happened.
Plus, if anyone would take someone up on their BS, it would be the opposition to that idea.
