Commie meals
I gotta eat baby
Ramen noodles
You could eat for $20 a week if you're careful.
@johanC You gotta spend it wisely.
probably could do it if you have an aldi
or save-a-lot
the latter always seems to be near the ghetto for obvious reasons
As long as you aren't shopping at whole foods, I think I could do it just about anywhere in the US.
@MͭAͤJͨOͪṘ You can also do it at a walmart.
Yeah but the selection would be exceedingly poor
vs the other stores
@Odalman Yhea, seeing how there is a walmart seemingly everywhere in the US, you can do that easily.
My wife and I like to cook. We like to get creative with what we have so we've learned to shop.
I think most people would be surprised on what you can do with very little.
I mean, if you can live off of 20K a year, it is certainly possible to get food for a week with $20, correct?
Society is used convenience.
Hmm?
Are we talking about feeding just yourself on 20
Used to get 2 weeks worth of frozen chickens at bjs for a bit more than 20
Or a household
not including weekends
We lived in an apartment, no welfare, and paid all our bills.
It wasn't easy but we got by.
Man now I want to take $20 and see what we can make that'll last a week. lol
@Odalman Yes, you have to sacrfice most of your comforts and luxuries, but it is do-able.
we had some comforts, I mean it was amazing compared to the kind of life people in third world countries experience.
Man i wish i could do it
My boys would smash 20$ worth of anything in a day
It was just my wife and I, no children. With children it's much harder but I think with a little bit more $ it's doable.
Yhea, you should not have kids with 20K, unless you are willing sacrfice even more of the few comforts you have, and more of your money which is going to be little.
When you're poor you have to be creative. We found ways to eat decent food for cheap.
ALSO canning is a great way to save money.
If you buy things while their in season and can them, you can save a bunch of money.
Plus it's way better than what you're going to get at the store.
Canning?
Never heard of that done before, and I have heard of a lot of stuff.
Good video explaination.
What would you can?
