It's just like saying that NK is democratic because they have that word in their country's name

2019-06-02 09:56:22 UTC

Or that NSDAP was a socialist party

2019-06-02 09:56:33 UTC

Oh ok

2019-06-02 09:57:19 UTC

I don't know a lot about anarchism because I'm so far oppose from that

2019-06-02 09:57:37 UTC

Anarcho communism?

2019-06-02 09:58:20 UTC

Not really, I'm just a regular social anarchist, my believes were def influenced by Proudhon, Kropotkin, Bakunin and Makhno

2019-06-02 09:58:47 UTC

But I wouldn't call myself a follower of any specific traditional anarchist ideology

2019-06-02 10:00:02 UTC

So what does an anarchist believe really

2019-06-02 10:00:22 UTC

All I know is they hate the government

2019-06-02 10:01:45 UTC

Shiet why are we so persecuted oy vey

2019-06-02 10:03:20 UTC

2019-06-02 10:04:00 UTC

The first one is so true though

2019-06-02 10:04:39 UTC

Isn't my neighbor my enemy really though

2019-06-02 10:05:02 UTC

They're owning land that could be mine

2019-06-02 10:32:42 UTC

So, about the anarchists

It is indeed true that anarchists are against the government and that they oppose the state
But it's not the main point itself, government shouldn't be abolished because "muh evil gubernment", but because it's the institution imposing a hierarchy (the worst type of it actually, the "unjustified" one) on people and because the participation in this institution is involuntarily (you were never asked if you want to be a citizen of the country you were born in or of any other)
And that is what anarchists oppose - unjustified hierarchy
We are against the situation when one man is put above the others solely because he can, because he has a power to subjugate other people and make them do what he says
And that's why anarchists aren't only opposing the government/state, but also institutionalised religion and capitalist economy (well, a lot of other economic systems too, but the capitalism is the main enemy nowadays for obvious reasons) and every other institution that imposes hierarchy

2019-06-02 10:32:43 UTC

Anarchists also think, that participation in any institution/group/society should be fully voluntary and that people should always be free to leave the group when they feel like it (unless they did some wrongdoing - for example if someone destroyed or stolen something belonging to some other individual or a group he has to compensate it somehow first)

The other thing anarchists universally oppose is private property, but I guess I'll have to explain that concept a bit more profoundly, since there's usually a lot of misunderstanding of what is "private property"
So, imagine you've built a house you're living in, you have made all the stuff that's inside yourself or you have bought it/exchanged it with someone, you plow your soil and plant and harvest your crops yourself
Is it your private property then?
No, it's your personal property and no one else has any rights to it
What would be an example of a private property?
For example when you've inherited money after your rich father, or even earned it yourself, and then just bought some factory and made people who work there pay you for being able to work
Same if you've just bought a large plot of soil and made people working there give you the crops they've grown just because you have a paper telling that you're the owner of that piece of land

2019-06-02 10:36:32 UTC

Yet another thing anarchists do oppose is someone telling other people what to do and what not to do even though their deeds don't affect his own life in any significant way
"Do as thou wilt" is a Crowley's quote but it could be applied in the case of anarchism too
You should be able to do whatever you like, as long as what you do doesn't affect other people
"Your liberty ends where my nose begins" is another quote that explains the philosophy of anarchism well

2019-06-02 10:36:56 UTC

If you have any particular questions about anarchism, feel free to ask

Is that yours?

2019-06-02 19:35:42 UTC

No I didn't originally make it.

2019-06-02 19:35:45 UTC

But I find it funny

2019-06-02 19:36:52 UTC

The humour (or lack thereof) reminds me the Hellbound comics you make

I thought the bad humor in his comics was deliberate

2019-06-02 19:38:12 UTC

That just made me sad.

2019-06-02 19:38:27 UTC

Sorry bro, I thought it's intentional

2019-06-02 19:38:27 UTC

THAT made it even worse corpse.

2019-06-02 19:38:40 UTC

There was one strip I found funny iirc though

2019-06-02 19:38:44 UTC
