There's a lot of absolute freaks in AfD
I mean, some MPs want a revision of the eastern border just for example

And the rhetorics and views of this party in general are pretty damn controversial, in bad meaning of this word

What is controversial today will be trivial tomorrow

Okay, so here's a short list of what members of this party said or did in recent years:
-sharing a picture of Hitler through social network sites, subtittled "Adolf, please come back! Germany needs you"
-saying that Germans should be proud of "Wermacht's achievements"
-sharing videos blaiming Poland for outbreak of WWII
-saying that Stettin should come back to Germany
-stating (in reference to the Berlin Holocaust Memorial) that "Germans are the only people in the world who plant a monument of shame in the heart of the capital"
They were literally kicked out from ECR, which is imo quite of an achievement itself

I mean they have a point with the Holocaust memorial

Well, yeah, I can kind of understand that
But it just makes for a bigger picture, showing what is their view on certain topics, etc.

Oh, and I forgot, they would really like to see all central and eastern immigrants deported and their members often show anti-polish stances
