You dont have to do anything even while bound by a treaty as they had made clear with Versailles.
And tbh, they realised that appeasement wasn't working at all
They did it too fucking late, but at least they did
Britain then decides to fight a world war over Poland and then doesn't even save it, puts it and several other countries under communist rule util the late 80's and 90's.
Also, you kind of forget, that Poland wasn't the only country he attacked before he invaded France
Danes, Norway
He would still attack USSR
Benelux
Yeah I know the reasoning why they did it. It doesn't justify Britain throwing Europe under the bus over Poland.
The USSR had every reason to do what they did. Hitler started a race war with them.
Britain had flimsy treaties that it picked when it was convenient to uphold.
Tbh neither France nor Britain did much, they are even blamed for betrayal and breach of treatie, because they didn't really attacked Germany after it started the war (although they kind of had right to do so according to the treaties)
All Britain was out for was the fucking international finance system, they weren't even out for themselves because they fucking gave up the empire immediately afterwards after going bankrupt buying illegally produced US military "surplus".
I mean, we shall consider the whole "French offensive" a fucking joke and pretend it wasn't a thing
Yeah
Fuck the allies
The absolute worst most garbage faction in WWII.
Entirely preventable war.
For obvious reasons I can't really agree with that
Thanks Britain.
Yeah, preventing the war at the cost of wiping out most of central and eastern Europe
Well everyone's sort of equally bad in the eyes of the Polish I suspect. Britain offered aid that it never sent and left you under the bus to get fucked by Stalin. And naturally you'd oppose any foreign invader, so that's both the USSR and Germany.
Sounds like a great plan
Better than the world in addition.
Mitigating the damage.
>better than the world
Japan would try to conquer Asia anyway and they would probably started the war with US anyway
The only part of the world that the Germany's war had any impact was Europe, and here it doesn't really matter if France and Britatin would join the war (I mean immediately, Hitler would attack them anyway at some point)
Japan probably would have but without the Brits egging them on, the US would never have prepared for war.
Or sent armaments en-masse to everybody.
Hell, maybe the US continues trade with Japan because of the depression and capitalizes on the war by selling to everybody indiscriminately.
And if Germany is only limited in scope to Europe, that's still not the world.
WWII wasn't this much of a "world" war
Important shit was happening only in Europe and Asia (well, North African front was kind of significant, but not so much compared to these two)
So yeah, if we won't count what Japan was doing in Asia and what Germany was doing in Europe there was basically no war
But I don't get your point here
My point is that WWII was started by Britain, not Germany.
Britain chose to intervene.
In a war that was limited in scope
@laurefinwë They 100% were
And in the future will once again be part of Germany
If not the entirety of Poland
Though TBH Germans Poles and Slavs don't want to be under each others' rule so Poland might end up sovereign by that right
Yeah I dont have hope for Germany today tbh.
I do
I have the same hope I have for the entire species
