Saudi has huge oil reserves, it doesn't need nuclear energy
Probably because there's a general push away from oil and if the Saudis were smart, they'd start diversifying their energy sector a little bit in the event that oil becomes worthless in the place of new tech.
It is hella fishy that Trump was so quick to push the tech on them though. It kinda makes me think that it's part of some sort of deal so the US can go fuck up Venezuela for a while and not burn bridges with the Saudis.
