There will always be areas subjected to the elements that no one will want to go to or exploit. Your premise of them "needing to fight" anyone who wants their resources is inherently flawed. You're assuming anprims would have to fight anyone who wants their "resources" but anprims naturally relocate to places where resources are scarce. You can say that anprims are usually K-selectors, because they are excellent competitors and generally occupy environments where you actually need skills to survive. So, anprims can succeed on their ideology alone, where they live in isolated areas and other people fuck off because there are many places in this world that have absolutely nothing of value to industry on it, where only people who take only what they need can survive. And it will always be like that, there won't come a time where every single spot on this planet will be sustainably inhabitable to people who want to aggressively expand industrially or even population-wise, because that's how this planet/nature works.

There's always going to be "deadspots" on a planet, not every single spot is going to be rich with minerals, sunlight, plants, water or whatever people want. And people are going to congregate most densely away from those deadspots.
