Plus, idk any actually wise old people who were as serious or were as dowr as prequal trilogy yoda
its because the orioginal trilogy actulakly had vision and was rightly sotlen from the japs and repurposed. literally every other film was a cash grab., prequels were the worst because lucas had direct control over them and no filter , and wrote them entirely himself and it shows .
Revenge of the sith had some promise it seems like that’s the only movie he intended to make but wanted the cash of the first two releases and the need for context that he didn’t think out
That being said I think the clone wars animated series serves as a solid piece of IP with decent writing though I’d say the 2d show had better clones and grievous
