not really i gave up my baptist roots mostly because personally i just dont believe anything is inherently good or evil. i do believe in "higher power" and the spirit/soul but not god vs satan and heaven vs hell. @Enn

why follow him? He is not going to fight, he is goign to let them destroy earth. and the people that followed him adn worshipped him, will be saved from it

well like with god n satan, satan at one time was gods favored angel then there was the whole nephilim bit and the inter-relations of angels and humans which was blasphemous for which satan and hus followers were cast out

but satan is of gods creation and thus is loved by god, and though his opposition towards god regarding divine intervention with man differed from gods plan, satan would not be but for the grace of god.

so while there is clear conflict that conflict only exists by gods direct design.

The Devil was made out of Man's image, though. We *assumed* the serpent in the Garden of Eden was Satan, even though it is not directly said. We assume that God and Satan are totally different, but look here: (Psalm 139:8) "If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there."

with out the devil, there would be no reason to worshipp him, so i guess there is a point to the devil, but know that hes only there for gods grace, and could cease to exist at any point in time

Well, the Devil (like Shiva) typically destroys, so it's essentially worship of creation *or* destruction.
