1.fucking nothing liter engine with a 5 speed

I have a 2016 Jeep Patriot right now with low miles(nothing special)

But I often want to just sell it and drive a beater

Old cars are just so much easier to work on

I knew a guy who had 4 Geo Metros and he'd just juggle parts inbetween them when something went wrong

When he'd go down a part he'd just occasionally check junk yards to swap parts

Yeah I'm not a fan of modern tight bays, plastic panels pop riveted over everything, and over abundance of tightly integrated electronics

I unironically went full luddite on a 6 speed Wrangler with manual windows and doors

I was just about to mention Wranglers

I wouldn't mind a TJ with an Inline 6 4.0

Used to have one of those as well and never had an issue

The I6 4l TJ I had got like 15mpg and I had a a Ford Excursion with a v8 7.3l diesel getting 23mpg highway

Diesels are pretty efficient

The Excursion also weighted in around 7,000ish pounds if I remember correctly
