Tried a 3 plate deadlift Sunday, didn't hit snap city but I'm still sore

Wearing a helmet for more than a few hours sucks
Straps dig in, you find every place the pads don't cover, and your neck gets tired as shit
I've been training neck 3 days a week. Mostly for aesthetics but it'll help with helmet + NODs
I felt like I was getting close to 3pl8 then I stopped going to the gym for half a month because of being burnt out from school. Got back and was barely past 2pl8 for work sets 😔

Get a towel put it on your face, side of your head, or back of your head, load with a plate, and go to town
Or go full autism and get a head harness and strap plates to that
So would I run pack no rig or plate carrier, bump helmet, and gunbelt?

@Snowback I know that feeling, I kept lightly pulling my back and have been stuck around 225-235 for 5x5. Last max was 285 but I find hitting a heavy single much easier than a full workout.
