only thing I dislike about the RNVGs is the lack of that auto off when you flip them up
put with a little practice it's easy to get used to twisting the nob when you flip them up with l4 g24s

Whem I used rnvgs I liked them because of their durability above all else id rather sacrifice auto off and articulating function for a unit that won't bust a tube off it if I hit my head on something.... Purely that above all else

I just used the height adjustment on the wilcox mount to keep it out of my eyes during the twilight. instead articulating my tubes out of the way.
true durability was also a factor, I wanted to be able to throw mine in the pack and not have to worry too much about the housing
