the major corps such as facebook and google perform the bulk of the DoDs intelligence gathering services. media big 6 collects exponentially more info and due to not being a nation state power is virtually totally unregulated in usage of that information. with nn gone that info is now directly corporate asset property which they retain full autonomy over usage of.
