theyre all interpretations of christ

@Uninteresting 6-In Josh. 5:13-15, it speaks of how Christ appeared to Joshua. Joshua was near Jericho when he saw a man with a sword drawn. Immediately Joshua wanted to know if he was friend or foe and he was told by the man that he was captain of the Lord’s host. Upon hearing this, Joshua fell on his face and worshiped him. This man did not stop Joshua from worshiping Him as any other servant of the Lord would do (Acts 10:26; 14:15; Rev. 19:10; 22:9 where servants of God stopped other men from worshiping them). Joshua asked Jesus what His message was and Jesus responded by telling Joshua to take off his shoes because he was on holy ground, which is the same thing he told Moses in Exodus when He appeared to him in a burning bush.

Read the fucking articles before you post them.

2018-05-30 22:36:18 UTC

from a quick google search of the actual quote in question

2018-05-30 22:36:23 UTC

jesus was never once mentionned

2018-05-30 22:36:40 UTC

He sure as hell was mentioned right in that quote from the bible.

2018-05-30 22:36:49 UTC

13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”

14 “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord[a] have for his servant?”

15 The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

2018-05-30 22:37:03 UTC

do you see jesus in there?

2018-05-30 22:37:41 UTC

"Joshua asked Jesus what His message was and Jesus responded by telling Joshua to take off his shoes because he was on holy ground"

2018-05-30 22:37:51 UTC

2018-05-30 22:38:02 UTC

And I am giving you the quote as well.

2018-05-30 22:38:06 UTC

thats from an inherently biased website article

2018-05-30 22:38:30 UTC

So a team of holy men are biased?

2018-05-30 22:38:31 UTC

How?

2018-05-30 22:38:49 UTC

because theyre looking for anything to spread their religion my dude

2018-05-30 22:39:02 UTC

Oh please, you run off of assumptions.

2018-05-30 22:39:25 UTC

what?

2018-05-30 22:39:35 UTC

this entire argument has been run off of assumptions my dude

2018-05-30 22:39:51 UTC

if you read that article to its full degree they make multiple assumptions as well

2018-05-30 22:39:55 UTC

You sure as right with that, all you have made is assumptions.

2018-05-30 22:40:09 UTC

good baseless claim but k

2018-05-30 22:40:23 UTC

im going to spell it out here since i dont think youre getting it

2018-05-30 22:40:36 UTC

and thisll be my last bit before i go since this feels like a waste of time

2018-05-30 22:40:38 UTC

An assured thing.

2018-05-30 22:41:26 UTC

bibleask.org is a source for christians to ask for questions concerning the bible

2018-05-30 22:41:39 UTC

from a group of incredibly committed christians

2018-05-30 22:41:40 UTC

And how are they biased?

2018-05-30 22:41:53 UTC

Is a christian not allowed to make questions about the bible?

2018-05-30 22:41:59 UTC

thats not the point

2018-05-30 22:42:02 UTC

just hold on

2018-05-30 22:42:35 UTC

the people publishing these answers, especially the original posted article, havent actually posted any kind of concrete evidence just interpretations

2018-05-30 22:42:38 UTC

guided by their faith

2018-05-30 22:43:01 UTC

in each of those passages

2018-05-30 22:43:11 UTC

And what isn't more concrete in their faith than the bible?

2018-05-30 22:43:14 UTC

you can see that it only referes to the LORD or to some kind of divinity

2018-05-30 22:43:27 UTC

this is going over your head isnt it

2018-05-30 22:43:34 UTC

they never refer to jesus in name

2018-05-30 22:43:42 UTC

And christ is another word for jesus, don't you know? Jesus was often referred to as christ.

2018-05-30 22:43:51 UTC

they never use the word christ either

2018-05-30 22:44:05 UTC

Doubt besieges me.

2018-05-30 22:44:18 UTC

you can doubt whatever you want
