When unemployment is not exploding

2018-08-04 13:40:48 UTC

Being paid less is illegal.

2018-08-04 13:41:14 UTC

Only on the paper

2018-08-04 13:41:27 UTC

In pratice it happens a lot

2018-08-04 13:41:30 UTC

To get into a college you need to be very educated too

2018-08-04 13:41:51 UTC

@Mr. X in a environment such as theirs it's hard man

2018-08-04 13:41:57 UTC

It happens a lot but if it does you can take your boss to court if they dont pay the proper amount

2018-08-04 13:42:01 UTC

And in the us you will need money

2018-08-04 13:42:06 UTC

Which they don't have

2018-08-04 13:42:36 UTC

@Mr. X they don't have money to pay for good lawyers and many cases are just dismissed

2018-08-04 13:42:43 UTC

So the best way to get out of poverty is not being a criminal but doing legal work.

2018-08-04 13:42:44 UTC

And after that they lose he job

2018-08-04 13:43:05 UTC

@Mr. X In many cases those people even have normal jobs

2018-08-04 13:43:24 UTC

They just don't have enough money to feed themselves and their family

2018-08-04 13:43:49 UTC

They don't do it out of greediness

2018-08-04 13:44:39 UTC

If those people were given decent conditions they wouldn't resort to that

2018-08-04 13:44:55 UTC

Because almost nobody wants to get involved with crime

2018-08-04 13:45:03 UTC

Lawyers isnt the problem, the evidence should be, if the person has enough evidence for not getting paid enough he should not have a problem. And such jobs are local for people in poverty, so their bosses are likely poor like them too, but not as poor obviously, they'd have trouble getting a good lawyer too.

2018-08-04 13:45:24 UTC

@Mr. X they would get a better one

2018-08-04 13:45:24 UTC

Some do it out of greediness though

2018-08-04 13:45:46 UTC

They could yes but it depends

2018-08-04 13:45:57 UTC

There are good cheaper lawyers out there

2018-08-04 13:46:06 UTC

Some of them do it of course but what's incetivated by the media and so on?

2018-08-04 13:46:11 UTC

Moral greediness

2018-08-04 13:46:19 UTC

And wouldnt the state provide you with one if you cant get one anyway?

2018-08-04 13:46:24 UTC

And when people don't have means to realize it

2018-08-04 13:46:50 UTC

They have to resort to other means to satisfy their artificial needs

2018-08-04 13:47:07 UTC

It's a heavily psychological aspect

2018-08-04 13:47:11 UTC

Crime brings journalists more money out of viewers and readers.

2018-08-04 13:47:42 UTC

When you pressure a mass into thinking something while not giving the means to realize it shit goes down

2018-08-04 13:48:17 UTC

@Mr. X the state lawyers in the us are known to be terrible

2018-08-04 13:48:19 UTC

If they work hard they can live better, that Im confident of. Because many people in old days, even where I live struggled and worked hard and now achieved a lot of wealth.

2018-08-04 13:48:30 UTC

They have to work in a ton of cases at the same time

2018-08-04 13:48:43 UTC

They can't even analyze a case for a entire day mostly

2018-08-04 13:48:52 UTC

So their performance is terrible

2018-08-04 13:49:13 UTC

Still, it also depends on the level of poverty and the evidence

2018-08-04 13:49:15 UTC

@Mr. X not always like this

2018-08-04 13:49:28 UTC

My grandmother worked since she was 7

2018-08-04 13:49:31 UTC

Im sure they'd win a case most of the time if being paid less was as common

2018-08-04 13:49:40 UTC

While maintaining top grades in the class

2018-08-04 13:49:50 UTC

For her entire student life
